Hello Families and Community Members - Byron USD is currently accepting applications for positions on our Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). CBOC members are tasked with informing the public of Measure R bond expenditures, reviewing expenditure reports to ensure proceeds are allotted for the purposes outlined in Measure R and presenting an annual written report to the Board of Trustees. October 23, 2024 - BTA & BUSD Bargaining Update: The Bargaining teams met today in our 2nd negotiations session for the 2024-2025 school year. The parties exchanged counter proposals regarding Article 8 (Health & Welfare), Article 11 (Transfer/Reassignment), Article 12 (Teaching Hours), Article 13 (Work Year), Article 15 (Class Size/Caseload), and Article 19 (Early Retirement). Both teams discussed the open articles and made progress towards reaching an agreement on some of the articles. Both teams mutually agreed to reconvene on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to continue collaborative discussions. - Byron USD Negotiations Team
