The CourAGE Youth Health Coalition is a youth-directed group that plays a leadership role in addressing health-related issues. Members develop skills that empower them to create healthy environments through awareness and advocacy projects. Past projects include: alcohol, tobacco & other drug prevention workshops at conferences, speaking at City Council meetings, and countywide contests.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month from 5:00-7:30 pm at the Contra Costa County Office of Education in Pleasant Hill. Dinner is provided. Youth members receive $250 each year, based on completion of membership responsibilities.
