Hello Dolphin Families, Welcome back! We are excited to begin a great last quarter of the school year! We do want to let you know you should anticipate more traffic than usual this week, as the school site next door has some major construction work occurring that will likely affect Willow Lake Road traffic - especially in the morning. Our 4th and 5th grade students will be performing their 2 minute Thriller Halloween Routine TONIGHT at Booville at 6pm on the playground blacktop. All 4th and 5th grade students are encouraged to participate. They have worked hard in PE and are ready to shine!

Hello Dolphin Families, Well it’s been awhile since we’ve felt an earthquake like that one! I just wanted you to know we are all safe and well on campus. We practice our earthquake procedures multiple times each school year, and all of our training paid off. Students and staff remained calm, duck and covered at the first sign of shaking, and remained under cover until the shaking subsided. We then evacuated outside and made sure all buildings were safe and students were safe and accounted for, as is our emergency procedure. Everyone did exactly what they needed to, and now they all have a firsthand experience with why we do these drills! Thank you, Erika Parlog Principal, Discovery Bay Elementary
